THE STORY BEHIND CIRCLE PARK SPORTS ARENA
When passion and innovation create a new way of offering sports
It started as a simple project: Enjoying sports with friends in Brussels. Sooner then we realised, we were connecting people of all backgrounds with our (and other) sports. The need for quality connections, between people who felt alone in a metropolitan area, became apparent. Lipton soon joined our efforts, launching their 'Lipton Purpose Plan' in our community sports hub.
The Lipton Purpose Plan gives young inhabitants of Brussels a way to connect with other likeminded (sports)people in a casual atmosphere. 6 out of 10 youngsters struggle with finding hang-out spots to connect with their peers. At Circle Park Sports Arena, there is plenty out room for them to bond over sports, music, food and drinks.

Circle Park Sports Arena has become, (speaking 06/2022), proof of concept. After one year, we have brought more than 3000 people together, enjoying their passion in sports while connecting to other.

CONNECTING PEOPLE
First and foremost, offering sports should be about connecting people. Although broadening certain sport-specific skills and therefor achieving desired results matter, none of this makes any sense without sharing it with others.
As our Lipton wall states: PLAY together, SHINE together!
PARTNERSHIPS
The word 'alone' is not part of our vocabulary. In search of partnerships, we have certain standards that need to be met. The partners we chose shared our philosophy and held true to the same values we do.
Lipton (Unilever), Brussels Beer Project, Vogoscope, Easykit,... They all have the word 'community' in their DNA. Neither of them can do this ... alone!
EVENT-BASED ACTIVITIES
There is a certain 'way of doing things' in sports. Our goal was to break with past tendencies, and infuse classic sports offerings with togetherness, music, drinks, food and a 'sunny' atmosphere.Â
Our "Lipton DJ Booth", beachchairs, pallet furniture and cosy tent makes our site ready for Open sports nights with DJ, breakfast tournaments, corporate sporting events, sports birthdayparties and much more...
